As one of Toho\'s young stars in the 1960\'s, she played reporters in the Godzilla films Godzilla vs. Mothra and Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster, as well as Yuichi Tanuma\'s girlfriend in the Young Guy series. Hoshi passed away from lung cancer on May 16, 2018, at the age of 74.
